Fiames

Fiames, a hamlet of Cortina d’Ampezzo, lies in the heart
of a breathtaking landscape where the majestic Dolomites
reign supreme. However, this natural beauty is now profoundly scarred by the impact of construction sites tied to redevelopment for the upcoming Winter Olympics. Once a symbol of alpine tranquility and harmony, Cortina has been transformed into
an open-air construction zone, with developments that starkly
clash with the delicate balance of its environment.
